Rosombi Class: Humanoid Native Sector: AM: Wilcomah Description: The Rosombi were the first aliens the Energon contacted, and, after a long existence of an interstellar trade route, were finally assimilated into the Energon Empire. Rosombi are fairly average humanoids, though they have very small eyes and nearly transparent skin. In harsh light, it is necessary for the Rosombi to wear heavy clothing to protect themselves. Rykell Class: Amphibian Native Sector: Q: Rykell Description: In ancient days, the Rykellian Allied tied together the many settlements of these slender, frog-like amphibians. However, they have past their heyday and many Rykellians live in poverty both in their native sector and around the Empire. Ryv Class: Humanoid Native Sector: DP: Zobozo Description: The proud native Ryv peoples are in many ways similar to the powerful Bosath. Sarka generally have better control over their malleable bodies and can sometimes alter their features to resemble those of other races or even impersonate people. Sooba Class: Humanoid Native Sector: CL: Rocky Stars Description: The tribal Soobas are quiet peoples who mine the asteroids of their native sector. Unlike many humanoids, the Soobas have exoskeletons that give them a very bony, skeleton-like appearance. While most Soobas have adopted the typical technology of the Empire, many still mine or hunt with their simple stone-like tools. S'sobi Class: Spore Native Sector: CS: Cleravah Description: These very alien peoples resemble plants, except that their green bodies do not possess any chloroplasts. They are often puss-covered and emit terrible odors that keep other races at a far distance from them. Most S’sobi have typical psyches, though they generally require long periods of weekly rest. Tallork Class: Space Amphibian Native Sector: GB: Gorbovam Description: Tallorks were the last race to join the Energon Empire after the invasion of the Caelus Galaxy. Since then, they have become a valuable workforce for the Empire and perform many of the needs of employment requiring space amphibians. Despite being large, aggressive-looking beings, the Tallorks are typically altruistic and uphold kindness toward others. Tan Class: Humanoid Native Sector: FK: Tanover Description: The Tans follow a large interest in biology. They have made amazing developments in their own race and continually study and develop the biological nature of other races. While some societies find such alterations of life to be undesirable, the Tans have done their best to work with them and spread their own points of view. Very often the Tans are the source of medical controversy in the Energon Empire. It is said that no two Tans are exactly the same, though they are all recognizable by their typical humanoid appearance and light brown skin tones. Tarron Class: Nebular Native Sector: BA: Yarith Major Description: The Tarron are a sneaky business race and uphold undiscovered thievery and espionage as virtues. Tob'ron Class: Insectoid Native Sector: DD: Grand Nebula Description: The Tob’ron follow their empress, who happens to be the mother of their entire race. There is no such thing as a typical Tob’ron, as there are eight castes from workers to soldiers to entertainers, with each existing as a very different being. Some Tob’ron are large, winged, and agile, while other Tob’ron are short, muscular, and walk upright on twin pairs of legs. Every fifty years, the Tob’ron empress dies, and a new fertile female Tob’ron replaces her and busily goes about laying the billions of eggs needed to keep the Tob’ron race thriving. Toka Class: Raska Native Sector: M: Callora Description: Toka are a quiet, gentle, very traditional race. They primarily stay at home and carry out their elaborate traditional practices while robots run their society. A typically Toka is approximately 1.2 meters tall and very fat. They often cover every inch of their blue skin, maintaining one of the strictest codes of modesty in the Empire. Torrask Class: Ichthyoid Native Sector: Y: Whatorra Description: These fisk-like peoples spend their entire lives in watery environments. Unlike some races that have found simple atmospheric breathing systems suitable, the Torrask require that their bodies stay wet and oxygenated for suitable respiration. A typical Torrask psyche changes greatly, as the young are usually very shy and easily frightened and the old are death-defying thrill seekers. Statistically, most Torrask meet their fates by thrill-related accidents. Trith Class: Spore Native Sector: BS: Nysor Description: Native to a sector of space filled with fierce ion storms, Trith are very resilient spore-like beings. Trovin are very conscientious about fairness and the feelings of others, skills that have served them well as merchants. T'thal Class: Brain Native Sector: BK: Skorrio Description: Developed by the Anakora, these large brain beings were first meant simply to be large computers. The Anakora were surprised to discover their abilities in self-consciousness, and they were soon classified as a new race. T’thal spend their whole lives floating by balloon-like bladders that extend from the tops of their ovoid bodies. T'vor Class: Mammalian Native Sector: BP: Rangiki Description: Since their earliest days, the native T’vor have been experimental with plants. They have covered every world in their sector with plant life, from icy plants in polar regions to brown, dry plants in deserts. The T’vor even accidentally created the plant race known as the Krong. T’vor are mousy beings who are easily frightened and feel most comfortable surrounded by plant life. Vazi are somewhat humanoid, though their heads and backs are covered with large leaves for collecting light and heat. Vome Class: Spore Native Sector: AK: Villicuso Description: Long ago, the Vome made their first creations in telepathic technology to perfect communication with deaf members of their race. Vome are somewhat humanoid, except that they reproduce asexually by splitting in two in a year-long process that includes duplicating all of their organs and eventually growing apart. The Vome are fairly quiet beings, though they do enjoy thinking and it is rare to find a Vome who is not entranced by logic puzzles. Vorgal Class: Pyror Native Sector: BQ: Jah’rahj Description: The Vorgal are short Pyror beings with four arms who have a digestive system based on combustion, somewhat like a boiler. In ancient times, the Vorgal were dominated by the Hastasi Empire, and many of them still work at the massive Hastasi factories where their ancestors worked. Vorgal are commonly seen as engineers around the Empire on starships, making repairs where other races could not fit. Voss Class: Humanoid Native Sector: ED: Oggus Prime Description: The humanoid Voss and the remnants of their Oggus Empire are among the most powerful races in the Empire. Voss are nearly typical humanoids, except for their three-fingered hands and prehensile tails. Vuldane are notoriously vain about their appearances and typically feature great amounts of jewelry and makeup. Vygg Class: Humanoid Native Sector: CZ: Vyggola Description: The Vygg trace their ancestry back to the Grand Nebula, where historians say they were driven out by Toski Feudal Lords in an ancient war. A Vygg is usually slightly taller than a typical humanoid, and they all have an abundance of joints in their limbs (an often-used position of sitting is for a Vygg to cross his legs three times in something resembling a knot). Vygg are very superstitious, and some scholars hold that they might have a type of telepathic link to a higher dimension where they can see things that might happen. Vytalx Class: Spore Native Sector: W: Yahtoo-Ba Description: Resembling oozing green swamp monsters in the lore of many races, the Vytalx are very gruesome beings. They eat quite noisily and their bodies often emit terrible stenches and popping sounds coming from within. Vytalx are intelligent beings and enjoy their dreadful appearances. Many circuses around the Empire have a Vytalx sideshow who spends his time trying to frighten his observers. Wygg Class: Humanoid Native Sector: CH: Wyggermara Description: Wygg are popular mechanics and engineers. Though their brains are lacking in ability to realize abstract notions, they are very adept at concrete problems. Wygg have strange braincases that feature four large lumps atop their heads where a different section of their brains rest. Wygg are also known for their abilities to extend strong, meter-long tentacles from pouches on their wrists. Xama Class: Insectoid Native Sector: AA: Xamatala Description: The Xama are nearly humanoid insectoids who feature an impressively large and ornate exoskeleton. Xama take pride in their exoskeletons and very often adorn them with ornaments or tattoos. While their native sector lays in ruins, many Xama have left to explore the Empire. Xama are fond of sweets and sugar, which was once their race’s currency and the start of their ancient apocalyptic war. Xila Class: Space Amphibian Native Sector: DW: Xila Description: In ancient times, the Xila developed advanced astronomical equipment and were terrified by the awesome power of the empires of the Grand Nebula. Fearing eventual invasion, the Xila were terrified and built up enormous defensive fleets. This kind of foresight is typical of the wise Xila, many of whom specialize in seeking out future problems in firms across the Empire. Xila, who appear humanoid except for their bug-like eyes, horns, and bat-like wings, are Space Amphibians who are capable of surviving in vacuum, though they find it uncomfortable. X-tok Class: Insectoid Native Sector: W: Yahtoo-Ba Description: The X-tok are shorter insectoids with an abnormal number of arms, sometimes reaching as many as eight. Most races find the X-tok, who hold jabbering without meaning as a popular pastime, to be a bit annoying. For this reason, there is often some disdain between X-tok and the beings around them. The most impressive example of such jabbering was the eight-day-long filibuster performed by a X-tok senator, who finally stopped only because he passed out from want of food. Yari Class: Yari Native Sector: CC: Yari Description: Like all beings of the Yari class, the Yari have chloroplasts, three arms, live young, and scale-like fur. The Yari can be distinguished from the others by their extremely long tongues (which are capable of being used almost as an extra limb or prehensile tail). Since their victory in the ancient racial war with the Kari and the Vari, the Yari have dominated their sector and kept their cousin races in subservient places. Yellow K'jobi Class: Humanoid Native Sector: EI: Irtova Byggyn Description: This race of blue-skinned humanoids are very similar to their cousins, the Blue K’jobi. They have exceedingly large blue eyes, and their noses are extremely small, being nearly only two slits between their eyes and mouth. Yellow K’jobi are renowned for their abilities in energy production and act as consultants in many energy businesses around the Empire. Yil Class: Liqui Native Sector: DN: Yilka Description: The Yil, liquid-like beings with amorphous bodies and the ability to alter their shape, grew through constant battles with nearby Robja space dragons. The Yil are even more adept at shifting their bodies than the Ojo and Sarka, and can sometimes even convincingly disguise themselves as complex objects. While most Yil are benevolent and wish to follow in the footsteps of the ancient knights who fought against the Robja, some Yil use their shifting abilities in sinister doings. Yilth Class: Nebular Native Sector: DD: Grand Nebula Description: These nebular beings are well known for their imaginative tales and creations. While not quite being artists, they are found throughout the Empire on staffs of companies who need creative minds (such as the holographic film producers in Energon Entertainmentia). Physically, Yilth are probably the nearest nebular race to humanoids, though their limbs are affixed more for swimming in their nebulous environments than for walking on gravitic planets. Zah Class: Humanoid Native Sector: CG: Lorzarzah Description: As natives of the Twin Sectors, the Zah specialize in testing new technology and designing luxuries for the cruisers. Zah seem to have an inborn desire to create and test new objects and technology. While not as creative as the Yilth, many Zah are among the best engineers in the Empire. Zah are nearly typical humanoids, though they have enormous ears that extend well past their shoulders. Zelthar Class: Humanoid Native Sector: Z: Zelthar Description: The humanoid Zelthar made massive leaps the beyond light speed travel ages ago to cover the enormous space between its stars. Through this technology, they built up trade relations throughout the sectors that now participate in the Zelthar Leage of commerce. Zelthar are very comparable to the Energon in their love of trade and fascination with exploration. While the Zelthar are considered humanoid, they are quite different, having four legs extending from a complex pelvic system. Zen Class: Humanoid Native Sector: AV: Hattassa Description: With the opening of Aneralba, the Zen and their native sector fell into a terrible economic crunch. To this day, the green-skinned Zen, with their rectangular eyes and horn-like hair, are struggling to restore prosperity to their sector. One possible reason for their trouble is the Zen’s natural tendency toward depression and inactivity from simply giving up when times are tough. Zermi Class: Giant Cellular Native Sector: CI: Zermi Description: The Zermi (although not Ichthyoids) live underwater is massive cities near sulfurous volcanic vents. They breathe sulfur and find too much oxygen to be lethal. Because of that, Zermi are forced to wear breathing equipment when traveling to places with normal atmospheres. Zermi resemble bulky worms and use their three large tongues like limbs for manipulation. Zolle Class: Humanoid Native Sector: AW: Zolleran Description: The Zolles have a culture in which elders were held in enormous respect. Because of this, Zolles are found throughout the Empire as caretakers for elderly peoples of all races. Zolles are pudgy humanoids with soft pink skin and cartoony faces. Zulbane Class: Nebular Native Sector: U: Ulka Description: The Zulbane, a race native to the Ulka Nebula, love luxury. Many Zulbane philosophers have outlined detailed philosophies about how luxury translates to the meaning of life. While most may not completely agree with this, they do enjoy Zulbanese luxurious objects and technology. Zulbane are tall, thin beings with wiry skeletons and vast folds of skin that stretch from their legs to their arms, allowing them to fly through nebulous environments. |
