List of Races: A to I

Aallin
Class:  Avian
Native Sector:  L: Aallin
Description:  These bird-like people have two sets of upper limbs, one as large functional wings and the other as smaller arm-like limbs.  Aallin have a tendency toward gullibility, and are generally very sweet-natured peoples.  Historically, they were responsible for vast advancements in the field of Hyper-Corridor Beyond Light Speed Travel, only after being enticed into it by the Bosath.

Algering
Class:  Avian
Native Sector:  ET: Indronoviae
Description:  The winged Algering peoples are hive creatures who find flying much more comfortable than walking.  In their own sector, they have built great gaseous fields where they can fly contentedly without much gravity at all.  They live in social hives with a queen and her court, and each of these queens answer to their race’s highest authority, the Grand Queen.  They are an enterprising people, though they often dread traveling away from their comfortable gas clouds.

Ankora
Class:  Humanoid
Native Sector:  BK: Skorrio
Description:  This race is of a very enterprising kind of humanoid who stand at a mere one meter tall.  Despite their lack of height, they are very agile and grow hair from the backs of their head and neck that often drags behind them.  Examples of the Ankora’s famous enterprising nature are their numerous star system-wide construction projects and the development of the K’bo and T’thal.

Ami
Class:  Pyror
Native Sector:  CM: Yataratay
Description:  The Ami are a reddish Pyror race with several large pores along their spinal cord that vent flammable gasses.  They love balance and precision, and hold the most balanced-featured members of their race as the most beautiful.  Aside from their overbearing adoration of balance, Ami have very complacent attitudes.

Ami'tar
Class:  Pyror
Native Sector:  CN: Ami-Authority
Description:  This is an offshoot of the Ami race which was created during the Ami’s first expeditions into space.  A seed-ship of colonists traveled to a distant star, and, over many generations, the colonists’ genetics were altered from their natural race.  While Ami’tar still hold a great appreciation for precision, they are much less complacent than their relatives.  One can usually tell the difference between their races by their differing attitudes and the Ami’tar’s greenish body color.

Aranith
Class:  Nebular
Native Sector:  GG: Freylas
Description:  Araniths are nebula-dwelling beings who greatly enjoy amusement.  While they do work between their nearly continuous schedule of holidays, most of their tasks are merely pleasurable ones.  Araniths also enjoy stylistic clothing and art that portray their desires for entertainment.

Arikor
Class:  Pyror
Native Sector:  BX: Arikor
Description:  The Arikor are nearly humanoid beings with long, snake-like tail coming from the waist instead of legs.  In addition, the tops of their heads hold a natural thick enamel crown from which a jet of fire spurts like hair.  Arikor hold hunting as a very fashionable pastime and believe it instills within them a reminder of their more violent days as nomads in ancient times.

Arravos
Class:  Humanoid
Native Sector:  AN: Energon Agris
Description:  The Arravos were one of the first contacts of the Energon Empire and were soon some of its first alien members.  Arravos are common humanoid beings with long, horse-like mussels and strong limbs.  Peculiarly, Arravos naturally hibernate for two standard months each two years, though some Arravos have abandoned the practice and consume vast amounts of caffeine to remain on the normal Energon schedule.

Belorg
Class:  Humanoid
Native Sector:  EU: Belorgick
Description:  The Belorg are a humanoid people who stand at a rather short 1.1 meters, but are capable of jumping many times their height.  Their culture holds travel as one of the most important facets of life, and each Belorg undergoes a rite of passage where they travel a great distance by itself.  While long ago the Belorg were all nomadic, they now have permanent residences, although wanderlust

Black One
Class:  Humanoid
Native Sector:  DQ: Vagooga
Description:  The Black Ones (whose native name is untranslatable) as powerful telepaths.  They have hairless skin with a very dark, shiny color, which thus gives them their nickname.  Also of note, their heads are quite large, nearly half again the size of typical heads, so that their bodies have space for their telepathic organs.

Blue K'jobi
Class:  Humanoid
Native Sector:  EI: Irtova Byggyn
Description:  This race of blue-skinned humanoids are very similar to their cousins the Yellow K’jobi.  They have exceedingly large golden eyes, and their noses are extremely small, being nearly only two slits between their eyes and mouth.  Blue K’jobi emigrants have scattered throughout the Empire as settlers while their home sector has been declining since its inclusion into the Empire.

Bohe
Class:  Raska
Native Sector:  AO: Mostam Bohe
Description:  The Bohe are very fleshy beings who have two mouths, one for eating on their torsos and one for speaking above their chins.  They come from this very empty sector of space where the first Gates to every galaxy have been established.  While their people have experience several waves of great wealth, the Bohe are currently in poor economic times.  Bohe have a tendency to poorly judge their resources and squander wealth whenever they come about it.

Bok
Class:  Space Amphibian
Native Sector:  DG: Ere’bok
Description:  The Bok lived peacefully in their native dust clouds for millennia until their discovery by Jeriga colonists.  To this day, Bok are peaceful people, despite their rather menacing appearance.  Bok are popular among the crews of starships as they are capable of performing maintenance work in space without technological aids.  Bok enjoy their work (otherwise, they would simply not do it) and are usually very quiet and thoughtful.

Borm
Class:  Mammalian
Native Sector:  EX: 9-Grazzius
Description:  This is a race of mole-like natural miners who tunnel endlessly in planets throughout the Empire.  They have enormous hands fitted with claws and, though they have rather poor eyesight, their senses of hearing are incredibly acute.  Borm are typically irritable individuals and are easily riled into a brawl.  As an example of their bad temper, the Borm language is forty-nine percent expletives.

Bosath
Class:  Amphibian
Native Sector:  K: Bosath
Description:  Many hold the Bosath as one of the most arrogant races in the whole of the Empire.  While this may or may not be true, their culture does have a tendency for selfishness, which has become apparent as the Bosath race holds a considerable percentage of gross wealth of the Empire.  Bosath live in large clans known as Households, each of which has its own emblem, secrets, theme song, etc etc etc.  There are often many arranged marriages between clans to bring about young that can prosper from both families.

Bot
Class:  Robotic
Native Sector:  FN: Bot Alpha
Description:  Energon scouts were perplexed to discover the race known as Bots.  They are a robotic race very similar to the robots that have worked in the Energon Empire for millennia.  Unlike typical robots, however, these Bots are capable of intelligence just like all races, while robots are only capable of carrying out commands.  According to Bot history, they were built by a long-extinct race known as the Ko'Rhai millenia ago.  Despite studying the amazing brains of the Bots, no one has been able to duplicate their mechanical intelligence.  Bots come in a vast array of shapes and sizes, and modern engineering technology allows them to upgrade their bodies with additional parts.  These machines reproduce by cloning their psyches into brain-matrices, thus creating an identical copy in mind somewhat like the methods of splitting in asexual reproduction.

Bumbilb
Class:  Humanoid
Native Sector:  DM: Bumbilbboss
Description:  The native Bumbilb are a tribal race with ancient technology in transportation gates.  Many scholars are intrigued by the Bumbilb’s ability to create tattoos on their hairless bodies merely by concentrating.  It is a bizarre chameleon-like ability that is often exhibited in live performances of art.  Other than the color-alteration of their skin, there is little difference between this race and a standard Humanoid.

Casopha
Class:  Mammalian
Native Sector:  GN:  Elinn
Description:  The cat-like Casopha are tall, slender beings with long, agile tails and strong senses of smell, hearing, and sight.  Their bodies are covered with a thin layer of fur that comes in a vast array of colors from yellow to silver to brown and is very often dyed a more exotic color.  Casopha are usually very calm, easy-going individuals, though they are known to hold grudges for generations over the smallest of matters.  One of these grudges is held against the Energon Empire, though the people are firmly productive members.

Chevorno
Class:  Amphibian
Native Sector:  FT:  Spodacka
Description:  Chevornoes are generally all quite insane.  Scientists have wondered how an advanced race could exist where all beings feature some kind mental instability.  Most Chevornoes live in submerged caverns below the surface, where their wild cities are worrisome places for visitors of other races.  Chevornoes are very often seen in pubs throughout the Empire, either mumbling to themselves maniacally or picking a fight with an imaginary patron.  Despite their disruptive natures, Chevornoes are usually considered comical, and many appear in circuses as comedians.

Diron
Class:  Insectoid
Native Sector:  BV: Quarsinon
Description:  The Diron are the smallest race in the Energon Empire, standing at a mere .74 meters tall.  They have unique, complex brain organs, which allow them to have accelerated intelligence for their size and disrupt normal forms of telepathy.  Diron are easily excited and are capable of flying short distances by using wings tucked under the shells on their backs.

Dorggan
Class:  Humanoid
Native Sector:  AC: Dorgga
Description:  Dorggans are stout, hard-working humanoids found in factories throughout the Empire.  While some of them are quite wealthy, the typical Dorggan income rates among the lowest of the Empire.  Amazingly, most Dorggans are happy with their meager lifestyles and do not seek greater power.  However, there are exceptions to this rule, as was seen in the Great Strike of Dorgga.

Drom
Class:  Humanoid
Native Sector:  BX:  Arikor
Description:  The Drom are held as the most beautiful humanoids in the entire Empire.  Their skin is a shiny silver color, and the color of the small shocks of hair coming from their heads range from white to blue to red.  Drom are typically very intelligent and talented, and the Drom have spread throughout the Empire to become entertainers.  It is estimated that one-third of all greatly successful humanoid entertainers are Drom.

Electoss
Class:  Electrical
Native Sector:  CJ:  Electoss
Description:  Electoss are very bizarre electrical beings.  Energon scholars hold that their bodies are made of complex interactions between electromagnetic fields and very high voltages, generated by either natural electromagnetic occurrences or synthetic electrical generators.  While this allows the Electoss to be able to travel very quickly through conducting matter (such as metal) and to be somewhat resistant to conventional weapons, they are very sensitive to electromagnetic waves and static fields.  Electoss are typically strong holders of their native  tribal ways and choose their governments in one-on-one combat that shine brilliantly like sparks and lightning during atmospheric electrical storms.

Energon
Class:  Humanoid
Native Sector:  I:  Energon Prime
Description:  The Energon race is the cornerstone of the Energon Empire.  They are considered the average humanoid, with skin tones ranging from pale white to dark brown, and a variety of colors of their eyes and hair.  While Energon psyches are fairly diverse, many scholars hold them as rather egocentric and quite political beings.  The Empire began with this race, spreading from its homeworld of Energonia and conquering the stars in an effort to create a united environment where trade in ideas and goods can easily take place.

Ergan
Class:  Humanoid
Native Sector:  AS:  Erga
Description:  This race was created as an offshoot of the Energon.  In years past, the Energon were working to colonize the stars, and a group of volunteers traveled to a distant sector in a fleet of colony ships.  Over the generations, these volunteers intermingled and their DNA altered enough so that the Ergans were finally considered a race for themselves.  While many often confuse an Ergan and an Energon, it is easy to tell an Ergan because of his or her pastel colors of hair and eyes, compared to the darker colors of the Energon.

Fajob
Class:  Mammalian
Native Sector:  GE:  Fergas
Description:  Fajob are brainy rat-like beings that are quite agile, though lacking in strength.  They are most interesting in their abilities to communicate via smell, by producing a spectrum of odors in glands behind their ears and then smelling the odors with their extremely sensitive noses.  This communication is generally limited to simple ideas and moods, and often times is offensive to the noses of other races.  Most Fajob are passionate about perfection in government and science, though they have yet to attain either.

Fi
Class:  Floral
Native Sector:  GH:  Nizo
Description:  The Fi, resembling large leafy bushes, are very connected to one another, and use their roots to tie into each other’s body chemistry.  While this is a commonality among the Fi, it is often painful or at least undesirable when doing such things with other races.  With such connected feelings, Fi are generally very altruistic and democratic, and it is rare to find an overly selfish Fi anywhere in the Empire.

Flin
Class:  Avian
Native Sector:  GP:  Valnoragao
Description:  The Flin are small bird-like beings with long beaks, wild fluttering wings, and voracious appetites.  Like hummingbirds, Flin, who are extremely excitable, float through the air, very rarely walk or rest.  The Flin are hero-worshippers and enjoy very exhilarating one-on-one combat.  However, their excitable natures and overbearing energy are often their downfalls.

Flokt
Class:  Humanoid
Native Sector:  EY: Con’Tun’Pak
Description:  Flokts are beings who live for neatness and cleanliness.  All Flokt styles of clothing include dirt-resistant materials that refuse to hold uncleanly dots.  Despite their seeming obsessive-compulsive disorders, Flokts are generally quite happy in their spotless cities and worlds.  The Flokts who travel outside of their zones of extreme cleanliness, though, are very often horrified by the squalor that they find elsewhere.

Florigas
Class:  Amphibian
Native Sector:  C: Vollisare
Description:  This race of amphibians are common to swamps all over the Empire.  They enjoy moist, warm climates and usually have their environments aboard starships so muggy that other races find them uncomfortable.  Florigas are known for their amazing regenerative abilities, which are even capable of restoring damaged portions of the brain.  Each three standard years, the Florigas celebrate the Spawning Festival, where Florigas revel in large spawning pools to create the next generation.

Foo
Class:  Lasidaze
Native Sector:  FH:  Xamafoo
Description:  The Foo are rock-based beings who are very resilient to a variety of harsh environments.  While they do eat to gain minerals, they usually only consume dirt or small rocks, and they earn their energy by soaking up heat and light.  Generally, Foo are somewhat lethargic and sleep for many hours a day, unless they have great sources of heat and light to power them.

Frey
Class:  Space Amphibian
Native Sector:  GG:  Freylas
Description:  The Frey have a very high moral code, thus are pleasant unless riled.  Visitors to this sector are warned not to upset their code, or else they will face vicious Frey wrath.  Frey are often at the scene of bar fights among star ports, as they are both easy to annoy and common among starships for their abilities to live in space as well as an atmosphere.

Frinn
Class:  Nebular
Native Sector:  DD: Grand Nebula
Description:  This race was a long-time member of the Great Confederation in the Grand Nebula before the Energon halted their never-ending war.  The Frinn are bulbous and rather fishlike, with long, spindly fins that cannot support them outside of their native nebulous environments.  To overcome this, most Frinn travel the Empire in large mechanical suits that contain strong limbs to carry them through inhospitable lands.

Fyth
Class:  Pyror
Native Sector:  BV: Quarsinon
Description:  The Fyth are scaly beings that might be mistaken for reptiles if not for their spherical heads.  However, Fyth are certainly Pyror beings and their bodies act as living furnaces.  In their bellies, they have ever-burning fires that the Fyth continually feed by eating combustible materials.  Because of these fires, the Fyth often have streams of smoke twisting out orifices in their necks.

Gangli
Class:  Humanoid
Native Sector:  DD: Grand Nebula
Description:  This race of humanoids served as military enforcers in the Toski Feudal Lords parts of the Grand Nebula.  Along with the Tetch, they dominated many regions and were always looking for more and more conquest.  Gangli can be recognized by their large hands and feet that are webbed, which makes for ease of travel in nebulae and seas.  Gangli often have a sadistic sense of humor and are somewhat feared by some races in the Empire.

Garayu
Class:  Pyror
Native Sector:  BH: Osferus
Description:  Allied with the Orotos, the Garayu fought bravely against the never-ending onslaught of the Hastasian Empire.  The Garayu feature chameleon-like abilities to alter the color of their skin.  However, Garayu cannot disguise the four spines that form a mohawk along their heads down to their upper spines, from which jets of flame sometimes leap.  The Garayu’s flames are tied to their moods, and, when very enraged or excited, burn brightly.  An old Garayu proverb warns against allowing these flames to burn, as they can sometimes do damage to the Garayu itself.

Gazzalor
Class:  Giant Cellular
Native Sector:  DD:  Grand Nebula
Description:  These large orb-like beings spend much of their time floating in thought.  While most Gazzalor are educators or philosophers, some use the feeble tentacles that extend from under their vision organs to operate the machines of Gazzalor society.  These bizarre cell-like machines were the key to the armies of the T’kol Allied in the Grand Nebula War.

Gore
Class:  Mammalian
Native Sector:  V: Gorgatha
Description:  The Gore are large mammalian beings who have dozens of horns, ranging from large ones over their shoulders to smaller ones that extend from the sides of their heads.  Gores are very violent beings who cannot find enjoyment in any entertainment that does not feature a bloody fight or battle.  Fortunately, their bloody tempers have declined since being dominated by the Energon Empire, and they are generally very capable of interacting in Imperial society.

Graszi
Class:  Humanoid
Native Sector:  CO: Quross
Description:  The Graszi naturally have an extremely high birthrate, with each birth featuring more than eighteen babies.  In old times, this birthrate led to upsetting slaughters and immense pressures on their resources.  Fortunately, the Graszi have been able to spread their numbers through the Empire, where they are welcomed as a large labor force.  For years, scholars of the Empire have been working to lower the Graszi birthrate, though the Graszi, who hold love as a center of their society, have resisted.  It is interesting to note that Graszi tattoo their extremely pale skin with ultraviolet tattoos that, though invisible to most races, are considered very attractive to Graszi’s ultraviolet-sensitive eyes.

Gysoth
Class:  Reptilian
Native Sector:  AI: Iring Prime
Description:  The Gysoth reached a golden age with their creation of the ultra-computer known as the A-RC.  Gysothian society is now nearly completely dedicated to maintaining the A-RC, with its planet-sized processors, innumerable satellite links, and cityscapes filled with memory.  Gysoth are generally average-sized reptiles with twin tails that are often used as extra limbs.

Hastasi
Class:  Pyror
Native Sector:  BF: Hastas
Description:  Hastasi are bulky Pyror peoples who have thick greenish hides.  Like dragons from across the Empire, Hastasi are capable of spitting fire by discharging flammable gasses.  The Hastasi had a large empire in the Pyrus Galaxy at the time that Energon scouts first arrived through the Pyrus Gate and still hold much political power in the regions they formerly dominated.

Hoko
Class:  Raska
Native Sector:  N:  Hokor
Description:  In ancient days, two races genetically merged themselves to create the contemporary Hoko.  Many historians theorize about the bizarre occurrence, though most agree that their very organized society simply found such an action the most orderly.  Modern Hoko lifestyle is centered around livestock, primarily enormous space creatures called gallplin.  Hoko eerily feature three eyes (one of which can see into the infrared spectrum), which all blink at different times.

Horned Prymanissan
Class:   Reptilian
Native Sector:  GA:  Rillem
Description:  Horned Prymanissans, cousins of Prymanissans, are almost identical in form to their relatives, except that they feature a crown of horns around their heads.  They are very much unlike the Prymanissans in that they are not very warlike and prefer agriculture to mining.  Horned Prymanissans are typically quiet and altruistic, despite often being mistaken for their easily upset and often selfish cousins.

Iggroh
Class:  Ichthyoid
Native Sector:  DZ: Iggono
Description:  These fish-like beings have gills that are quite unable to breathe with anything thinner than dense water.  Thus, the whenever the Iggroh travel outside of their many terraformed or otherwise altered worlds filled with water, they travel in large water-filled pods.  These pods have a mass of controls and feature numerous legs, limbs, anti-gravity drives, and often weapons for their defense.

Imadane
Class:  Floral
Native Sector:  AP: Basotha
Description:  The Imadane are a business-oriented race, even more driven toward money than the Energons.  From their fertilized-enriched pedestals, they control many massive businesses throughout the Empire.  Imadane are very intelligent beings, though they seldom move themselves.  Instead, their pedestals are set on robotic walkers to move them without ever having to stand.

Irin
Class:  Humanoid
Native Sector:  BQ: Jah’rahj
Description:  The Irin were conquered by the Hastasian Empire long ago and forced to become the foundation of the Hastasian industrial machine.  Irin were once thin, hairless humanoids with enormous eyes, but over the years, the Hastasi bred them to be large, strong, and nearsighted.  When the Hastasian Empire was conquered itself, many Irin fled their homes and spread throughout the Energon Empire, where they still serve as strong workers.
