After the success of the colonization of the Lapidare Galaxy, a now-extinct political party known as the Colonialists called for the opening of this smaller, gaseous galaxy. Unfortunately, a long and bloody war followed to subject the galaxy, and, by its end, the Empire was discouraged from opening another galaxy any time soon. FY: Calusia Physical Description: Mostly void, Caelus Gate Population: Below Average Industry: Subsistence Politics: Freedomist, Democracy Notes: When the Caelus Gate opened in this sector decades ago, eager Colonialists (from a party since disbanded) burst into the Caelus Galaxy. Unfortunately, war erupted between the colonists and with the native peoples. The war was surprisingly bloody and long in numerous cat-and-mouse campaigns filled with ambushes. In this sector, the memory of the bloody war is still kept up and the peoples call for no more intergalactic expansions ever again. FZ: Prymanissa Physical Description: Mining Centers (huge factory-cities), Prymanissan Cloud Population: Above Average Industry: Mining, resource harvesting Politics: Internalist, Republic Notes: The reptilian Prymanissans fought steadily against the Energons in the conquest of the Caelus Galaxy, but finally joined the Empire after long peace discussions. The Prymanissans were in a resource crunch, and the Empire offered new technology to mine the resources of their nebula. With Energon help, they further developed their worlds into the great mining centers they are today. GA: Rillem Physical Description: Farming Centers (huge factory-cities), Prymanissan Cloud Population: Above Average Industry: Agriculture Politics: Internalist, Republic Notes: Horned Prymanissans, cousins of Prymanissans, joined the Energon Empire much earlier than their neighbors. They hold to an agricultural way of life and, after the war, returned to their fields, which they expanded with Energon technology. GB: Gorbovam Physical Description: Crowded, growing industry Population: Average Industry: Manufacturing Politics: Internalist, Socialism Notes: The native Tallorks, the last race to join the Energon Empire, isolated themselves to stave off Energon invasion. To this day, they remain distant from the Empire, though they eagerly accept refugees. When the Energons finally won the trust of the Tallorks, they found the sector rich with a strong workforce. GC: Malaki Physical Description: Malakian Cloud Population: Average Industry: Tellinium mining and refining, communication Politics: Practicalist, Republic Notes: Colonists found this sector rich with resources and mined it duly. This was one of the few sectors to have little or no violence in its colonization. Now it is a quiet, productive sector. GD: Kavor Physical Description: Average stars and worlds, migratory Space Kavors Population: Average Industry: Harvesting of Space Kavors Politics: Freedomist, Tribal Leaders Notes: The Mamok people have followed and enriched themselves via the Space Kavors since they first made their way into space from their home world. They fought very aggressively, but were eventually defeated. Now they just want to remain with their herds of Space Kavors. Mamok herders are some of the best wranglers in the Empire, and are hired throughout as hands. GE: Fergas Physical Description: Tatook Cloud, vast stockpiles of information Population: Average Industry: Research, development Politics: Radicalist, (constantly changing) Notes: The native Fajob, who did not welcome the Energon Empire, were pressed into their sector by Energon colonists. After being absorbed into the Empire, they began the task of examining all that existed in the Empire. They are passionate about a 'perfect' government, though they are not yet sure how to build one as of yet. GF: Joofoonal Physical Description: Tatook Cloud Population: Average Industry: Manufacturing, agriculture Politics: Radicalist, Parliamentary Notes: The Fajob, seeing the might of the Energon Empire, actually welcomed them. A conspiracy formed among them to try to conquer it from the inside, which is still working today (though it was long ago exposed). Most Fajob support the conspiracy in theory, though few actually work with it. Many Fajob simply work with their tasks and ignore Energon government. GG: Freylas Physical Description: Tag Cloud, Villages only no cities Population: Above Average Industry: Mining, manufacturing Politics: Orderist, Fascism Notes: This sector is a pleasant one, as long as one does not do anything wrong. The Frey have a very high moral code, thus are pleasant unless riled. Visitors to this sector are warned not to upset their code, or else they will face vicious Frey wrath. The Frey, Fi, Araniths, and Sakri formed an alliance against the Energon Empire long ago and sent a delegation to Energonia to halt the invasion. At last they returned with a favorable peace-treaty with all four of the races now part of the Empire. GH: Nizo Physical Description: Worlds connected via enormous vines, Tag Cloud Population: Below Average Industry: Bio-industry Politics: Internalist, Democracy Notes: The native Fi are very connected to one another. The Fi way of greeting is to connect to one another by their roots (though this method often does not work with members of other workers). They are working to convince the rest of the Empire to work toward more internalization and connection amongst themselves. GI: Pakina Physical Description: Many racing tracks, Tag Cloud Population: Average Industry: Tourism, games Politics: Freedomist, Democracy Notes: Araniths are nebula-dwelling beings who greatly enjoy amusement. Their original calendar was 82% holidays. Now, with the Energon calendar, they have 99% holidays. Fortunately, their lackadaisical economy is supported by tourism of the many other beings who come to join in on their festivities. GJ: Kli'Klucka Physical Description: Tag Cloud, The Flower Population: Above Average Industry: Flower harvesting Politics: Internalist, Parliamentary Notes: The Sakri are people who are very interested in the espionage of information. However, there are often consequences to their robberies. Their largest experiment gone wrong resulted from science stolen from the Fi. The Flower was a bio-experiment to create a massive and fast-growing space plant, which continues to spread through the sector to this day. The Sakri have adapted their entire economy toward the harvesting of the rich resources of the Flower. GK: Klibbin Physical Description: Klibbin Cloud Population: Above Average Industry: Mining, refining, manufacturing Politics: Radicalist, Republic Notes: The Klibbins are an industrious people, who, when the Empire began to invade, turned their industry toward war. After a strong defense, they finally were absorbed into the Empire. Today, the Klibbins blame the Energon Emperor for nearly every problem and seek to eliminate the office. GL: Gooba Physical Description: Polluted worlds, several newly built worlds Population: Average Industry: Interstellar dredging, construction Politics: Internalist, Council (appointed by fertile females) Notes: The Orontises dredge space dust and collect it to build new worlds to replace their horribly polluted worlds. These polluted worlds are known as havens for ne'er-do-wells and are very often swept over by the Energon army. Several entrepreneurs have come to the sector, hoping to mine out the cores of the overly polluted worlds. GM: New Gooba Physical Description: Mobile space cities, filthy worlds Population: Below Average Industry: Construction, improvement Politics: Internalist, Council (appointed by fertile females) Notes: When Gooba fell to the Energon Empire, many Orontises fled and tried to make their own way. The refugees enjoyed a brief stint of growth and prosperity, as they had fresh worlds and the Empire was busy dealing with other threats. Soon, however, their luck turned for the worse, and they soon filled their new worlds with pollution. The Empire came to assimilate them and save their worlds from the same pollution that plagues Gooba. Now most of the sector's population lives in the mobile space cities in which the refugees fled their home worlds. GN: Elinn Physical Description: Elinn Cloud Population: Average Industry: Internal affairs (very little external trade) Politics: Internalist, Republic Notes: The native Casopha fought only small skirmishes with the Energon Empire before joining it. Only a few months later, the Casopha up rose in a bloody rebellion. After being put down by the Energon Empire, the Casopha became very bitter toward the Empire. Today, they hold that no other races should be assimilated into the Empire. Tensions are high with the Empire, as Casophan tariffs keep trade from penetrating the sector. GO: Pilonor Physical Description: Pilonor Cloud Population: Above Average Industry: Cellular architecture and construction, manufacturing Politics: Radicalist, Democracy Notes: The Nal-Tol first explored their sector, and then fought the Empire using their bizarre ships made from enormous cells. Their cellular technology has been valuable to the Imperial scientific community since its inclusion. Since joining the Empire, the Nal-Tol have been campaigning for extreme democracy, even down to newborns. GP: Valnoragao Physical Description: Pomagonanopoi Cloud Population: Above Average Industry: Mining, resource-harvesting Politics: Radicalist, Monarchy Notes: the Flin, who are hero-worshippers, populates this sector. Their defense against the Imperial invasion consisted of one champion fighting at a time. Although the champions were valiant, the Energon's warriors quickly overwhelmed them. The Jyphus himself defeated the last Flin champion himself, thus earning the Flin's allegiance forever. Today the Flin are pushing for a rewriting of the Energon Constitution so that the worthiest warrior in the Empire has absolute rule. GQ: Caelus Energonia Physical Description: Recently opened, developing worlds Population: Below Average Industry: Fledgling industry, colonies Politics: Orderist, Appointed Government Notes: This sector without native intelligent life was only recently opened for colonization. It bears an appointed colonial government, and Governor Maltay seems very hopeful for the future. Now, it is a growing sector, with hope for more growth soon. |
